Brighter Futures is a local charity supporting parents, families and young people in Jersey. We provide keyworker support alongside a number of Free programmes and services to help support the parents and carers we meet.

Supporting 150 families at any one time, we focus on 3 key areas:

  1. Parent–Child Relationships programmes, help our clients recognise and value their role as their child’s first and most important educator.
  2. Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing programmes, which support social and emotional wellbeing, increase resilience to cope with difficulties and challenges to give our clients hope for a brighter future.
  3. Second-Chance Learning programmes, provide the skills our clients may need in order to progress and succeed in education, work and life.

Since 2008, Brighter Futures has supported over 3,450 families, benefitting over 13,400 Islanders. Working alongside the main carer, our educational model provides them with ways to thrive.
