An incredible team from B&Q Jersey gave up their time on Saturday 9th September to transform the outside area of the creche space at Brighter Futures.

One of the most often used parts of our premises received a huge upgrade thanks to the time and effort of B&Q's community project team.

Over the course of nine hours (and on a very hot day), the team made huge visible improvements by building us a corner new planter, providing beautiful flowers to add colour, providing a lockable storage unit for our outdoor toys and adding new, white fencing panels to create privacy for our creche team and children.

B&Q also got creative by making us a wall of different pipes for water play, and our current tyre planters were upgraded with new compost and flowers.

This was a huge project, undertaken by the B&Q team with kindness, good humour and dedication.

Brighter Futures cannot thank you enough for your vision and practical help which have transformed the creche area for everyone who enjoys using it.
