Bosdet Foundation pledges three years' financial support for Brighter Futures.
We are delighted to confirm that Brighter Futures has been selected as a recipient of ongoing funding by The Bosdet Foundation with effect from 1st December 2021.
The Bosdet Foundation will provide Brighter Futures with £30,000 per annum over the course of the next three years, which will enable seven families per year to receive individual programmes of support designed by Brighter Futures.
Founded in 1989, The Bosdet Foundation is a charitable foundation funded by the profits of Les Ormes in Jersey.
Brighter Futures CEO, Fiona Brennan, explained: “We currently support more than 150 families a year. Knowing that these funds will be provided to Brighter Futures over the next three years will help us to assist more families who are facing challenges and who require our support.”
We would like to express our sincere thanks to the Bosdet Foundation for this essential support.
Alan Le Pavoux, charity manager of the Bosdet Foundation, added: ‘‘The Foundation’s aim has always been to see long-term benefits and positive changes in our community. One of the best ways to do this is by working with families and their children.”
Brighter Futures was founded in 2008 by Wendy Hurford MBE. The charity offers a range of programmes which address three crucial key areas of family life; parent and child relationships, wellbeing and positive mental health, personal development and second chance learning.
