Time has flown since Easter, but it's never too late to thank our supporters.

This Easter, the CI Co-Operative Society donated shopping vouchers to Brighter Futures and five other fortunate local charities, following the generosity of its customers and the Co-Op itself, as part of the Easter Community Appeal.

Speaking on behalf of the Co-Op, Fiona Murphy, Community and Sustainability Officer, said:

"With the success of our charitable Easter donations last year, we are delighted to be able to run the campaign again.

Shoppers had the option to purchase a £2.50 Easter donation coupon from any of our stores and the Coop matched this, with a further £2.50.

As with last year, all funds raised during our Easter Community Campaign, were distributed to our selected charities in the form of Coop vouchers."

Fiona Brenna, CEO of Brighter Futures, said: "This will mean the world to many of our clients who will be able to receive this extra support."
