We are excited to announce that Mathew (Matt) Gollop will step into the boxing ring on behalf of Brighter Futures on Saturday 1st April 2023.

We are delighted to be Mathew's charity of choice. Thank you Matt! We will be cheering you on.

Here's what Mathew said about choosing Brighter Futures:

"Not only do I think Brighter Futures is a fantastic charity, but my Mum, Dawn Gollop, also does a lot of work with Brighter Futures, and so the opportunity to support both you and my Mum means a lot to me.

In terms of what I’m doing, I have been in training camp since the beginning of the month and am fighting in the White Collar Boxing Event which is hosted by Transform Together, but I will be representing a business called Boxd Off which is run by a good friend of mine.

I will be one of nine fights on April 1st and the reason I wanted to do this is because it’s an opportunity to support local charities, help grow my friend's business, and it’s also something that I wanted to do for both my mental and physical health, and it’s made such a positive impact on me so far already."
