Governance & Management.
Good governance is fundamental to the success of Brighter Futures. Good governance enables and supports us to be compliant with the law and all relevant regulations. It also promotes confidence in our organisation and ensures that we are fulfilling the Charity’s purpose and vision.
Good governance runs throughout our Charity. The Board of Directors is responsible for the governance and oversight of the Charity, and we rely on the Board’s skills, expertise and knowledge to be able to govern well.
Our Management Team, Volunteers, Advisors and others work towards delivering the Board’s strategies to carry out the Charity’s non-profit purpose. Good governance enables Brighter Futures to be effective and accountable.
The Governance, Risk and Compliance Committee is responsible for ensuring that the Charity adheres to all regulatory procedures. This Committee meets quarterly and reports directly to the Board of Directors.
