Senior Practitioner

I have been working for Brighter Futures since October 2020. My previous role was head of the preschool in a private nursery setting.

I currently oversee all Growing Together groups and thoroughly enjoy being part of this fantastic programme which focuses on parent and child interactions, as well as developing children’s communication, language and literacy. My childcare experience also enables me to share different activity ideas with parents, helping support each area of their child’s development.

I have recently joined Wants and Wishes. This group focuses on self-reflection, self-esteem and goal setting.

We look the importance of self-care and how we value ourselves. Being part of this course has helped broaden my practice as it focuses solely on the parents. I am able to then incorporate the tools and techniques learnt from the course into my 1:1’s with clients.
