Brighter Futures is pleased to welcome Marcel Bucur to the charity as Fundraising, Events and Partnerships Manager.
Marcel has more than 25 years of experience in customer-facing roles and event management in Jersey. He has worked at The Royal Yacht, The Club Hotel and Spa, and The Radisson, where he organised corporate and private events.
In addition to organising events, Marcel will oversee and develop partnerships with new and existing supporters of Brighter Futures. He would love to hear from you or your place of work if you wish to discuss how you could get involved in Brighter Futures.
Commenting on his new role, Marcel said: “I am delighted to have joined the team at Brighter Futures and I am looking forward to meeting its donors and supporters. I am also looking forward to our legendary White Collar Darts event on 19th October, and the annual Ladies Lunch on 7th November 2024.”

Our dedicated team provides vital support for more than 150 families per week, and our large-scale events are crucial to raising awareness about our ongoing work with families.”
Marcel will work on the fundraising team alongside Judith Hanson, Brighter Futures' Trusts and Grants Manager.
